From the Festival's website:

"As both a performer and composer, Liz Carroll is among today’s most revered exponents of the fiddler’s art – and the most garlanded with awards, from TG4’s Gradam Ceoil to a US National Heritage Fellowship. New solo projects in 2018 will reflect on her earliest inspirations, amid Chicago’s thriving Irish community, together with those encountered on her subsequent artistic travels.

Smoky-voiced singer and classically-trained fiddler Niamh Dunne - of Beoga fame - inherited generations of Travellers’ music from her dad, Limerick piper Mickey Dunne, and won glowing reviews for her 2013 solo debut Portraits.

Accompanying both Carroll and Dunne are guitarist/accordionist Seán Óg Graham and bassist Trevor Hutchinson."
